First outing for our group. We took a bus and picked up a St. Louis guide at Forest Park which was the home to the 1904 World’s Fair. This park also has the Art Museum, St. Louis Zoo, Science Center, Jewel Box green house and the Muny Theater. After lunch we went to Anheuser-Busch Brewery for the tour. Horses were there but not outside. I asked about the new gold/black eagle. The guide said when they were bought out the new owners want to “flatten” the eagle to one color and change the direction it was facing to show the are onto new adventures. The original buildings are beautiful and ver ornate.
We had a beautiful day with the storms moving on from past few days.
