We arrived in Split Croatia noon today and will leave port 8pm.
Split is one of Croatia's oldest cities. It sits on an amazing bay overlooking the Adriatic Sea. The remains of the city have been seamlessly assimilated into the modern city. rooms of the palace are used as museum space, shops, restaurants and hotel. Here as we have seen at many places on this trip- many historical buildings have been used to show art installations to help pay the bills...sad but true. In Croatia the main means of making money is tourism.
