Arrived in Barcelona on Monday morning. Taken to Nobu, our hotel for the next two nights. Monday was spent trying to adjust our internal clocks. We walked to a great local Tapas restaurant for an early dinner. Tuesday, we took a Hop on Hop off bus to explore the different areas of Barcelona. It is supposed to be the shoulder season, but the number of people says otherwise. All apartments have balconies with greenery and small table and chairs since there are no lawns. Scooters and taxis are the choice of transportation; they both drive like kamikazes.
Wednesday, we had a short bus tour prior to being taken to embark on The Viking Jupiter. We spent the day wandering the ship and figuring our way around. Thursday was a tour of Barcelona, since we arrived early, decided to stay on board, do laundry and chill. We leave port tonight and head to Montpellier (Sete).
