Cruising

Cruising is a wonderful way to travel. Once unpacked you are catered to for the remainder of your trip. We had a very nice sized room with a large balcony. So much different from when I took my 1st cruise to the Bahamas 40 years ago.
We left Whittier and cruised the night/morning traveling to Glacier. Being early in the season wildlife is scarce which was so different from the land portion. The scenery was stark and cool and lots of rain but still beautiful.
The trip took us from Hubbard Glacier, Glacier Bay, Skagway, Juneau, Ketchikan and Van Couver BC to disembark. We took two photo excursion that were a waste and a kayak trip that was wet but fun.
