Took the train from the airport to downtown Vancouver to explore. Figured we should get ready for walking-over 10,000 steps so that was accomplished. We saw where our ship will arrive at the end of the three week trip. It will be a 7 day cruise from Whittier to Vancouver. Also saw the Olympic torch and a beautiful Canadian Anglican Cathedral. It had a beautiful textile feature that changes with the church seasons. Found my Unique person that I look for each day while traveling- spiffy shorts/socks😆
Upon returning we met with the Holland American representative for direction for our departure tomorrow. We will fly out to White Horse in the morning and the adventure officially begins. Our hotel is amazing-14th floor with a spotting scope to use to see the beautiful scenery planes arriving and departing along with float planes.
