Monday we arrived in Cologne Germany and had a short walking tour of the city. “Say it with padlocks” is common theme here. Names are written on lock, placed on the bridge and throw the key into the River. The Cologne Cathedral is amazing and was begun around 1248 and took seven centuries to be completed. It was started with a small relic- the bones of the Magi. It is placed in a golden sarcophagus.
In 1603 Cologne passed a law stating only true Kolsch is brewed within the city limits. We took a German food/pub crawl with a local guide and we’re able to take in the nightlife.

Amazing photos & I particular like the cathedrals & sculptures as they are stunningly beautiful. Enjoy the remaining leg of your cruise & you’ll be returning to beautiful Michigan days, if it stays. Sunshine & 80’s this week. 🌷🥰
