Today we saw the Wurzburg Residenz and the city. No pictures were allowed inside but I loved the gardens and made up for it.
Wurzburg is surrounded by Franconian vineyards. It was heavily damaged during WW II but has been completely restored. It is common for you to purchase a glass of wine, take it to the bridge and enjoy the view and company of others. Being a Friday there were many people, one graduate from Wine making school, a few newly married couples and a bride to be and her friends. It was a beautiful sunny day to enjoy the sites.
