We traveled thru the Wachau wine growing region with beautiful terraced vineyards and came to Melk Austria where the Danube and Melk rivers meet. We had an excursion to the Melk Abbey and library where we were able to see many beautiful antiquities but not able to take any pictures. I also toured the garden area.
Melk Abbey is a 900 year ole Benedictine abbey
