Today we took a food, drink and history tour of Nashville outskirts. Nathan a “starving artist” was our driver and we joined 7 others for a three hour tour. He is very knowledgeable of the history and has lived here off and on since 2002. The food was amazing and included mini donuts & mimosas from Donut Distillary, brisket, rib and hush puppy from Martins BBQ, our choice of a cookie from Christie’s Cookies, hot chicken sandwich & pimento Mac/cheese from Hattie B’s and ended at Far Better Distillery, a small batch operation that has a nice selection and a tasting room to end the tour.
Not the “normal” Nashville tour but a nice change of pace. Weather here is warm, sunny and flowers are blooming.
