January coming to a close already as well as our first month at Rincon Country West in Tucson Az. We have had a great month and looking forward to the dame for February. They have many activities to choose from to keep you busy as you want to be. I have taken up pickleball. They have pickleball 101 two times a led by a few people who live here. Everyone is more than willing to help you learn the game and play at your level and not be embarrassed. I have been keeping busy with my quilting here on site. They have a great room and groups there most days but I am enjoying sewing outside the coach when the wind permits.
Jai has been swimming laps each morning during the designated times. Pool is very warm which is good with the cool mornings we've had. The weather has been cold at night(30-40) but nice each afternoon (60-70) and of course sunny. We have also been taking the Letric bikes out on The Santa Cruz River Park which is part of the Huckelberry Loop which is over 100 miles of paved trails that go around Tucson. Great way to see the city, wildlife and artwork along the way.
Food is always an adventure for us. We have been visiting different places each week including old time mesquite steak houses and Sonoran hot dogs. We have been successful on both accounts.
