Saturday started out overcast but the sun broke and was a perfect day to be out wandering. Margie and I went hiking at Torrey Pines State Park along with hundreds of other people. What a beautiful place to explore many different types of climates/vegetation in one place.
We walked to downtown Carlsbad to met up with the guys. Senor Grubby's was a great place with outdoor seating food and drinks. The spicy mango margarita and burrito was just the answer for a post hike lunch. We then headed back to casa Eardley to trim Margie & Brad's tree. I didn't realize how much I missed decorating a Christmas tree. We ended the evening with peppermint crunch ice cream from Handel's Homemade Ice Cream Shop.
