A Travellerspoint blog

We took a great trip in a Hummer with Wild Horse Adventure Tours to find the elusive OBX Wild Spanish Mustang Horses. It started out with drizzle but cleared up part way thru the trip. Our guide was so knowledgeable of the area, ecosystems and the plight to keep the wild horses alive and well.

We stopped at the Currituck Beach Light House for a few pictures. Next we found a great place for lunch on the way back into town at The Village Table & Tavern in Duck NC. The next stop was a return trip to Bodie Island Lighthouse so Jai could get another Junior Ranger Badge. Better pictures today since the rain was gone and blue skies appeared. The final stop of the day was back to The Wright Brothers National Memorial to get Jai's senior National Park pass and pictures with the sun shining unlike yesterday. It was a nice hike up to the memorial today.
Long day but we took advantage of our free time. Off to Myrtle Beach South Carolina tomorrow morning.
