We left the RV Park this morning and headed into The Air Force Memorial, The Army Museum, Women's Memorial and Arlington National Cemetery. It was was a hot and busy day for us. The Airforce Memorial is breath taking. The Army Museum was finished during COVID but has only been open to the public for a short period of time. The presentations were outstanding and the volunteers were eager to explain and answer questions. The Women's Memorial is also wonderful They had a presentation of quilts on display an there was a 101 year old veteran woman visiting. It made me think of my Aunt Kate(Captain Kate) and wished she would have been able to see this. Arlington is always so moving no matter how many times I've been there. I have vivid memories of visiting with my parents and two sisters and brother who had planned it many moons ago. I remember standing at the Eternal Flame with my broken arm which had delayed our vacation. Funny the memories we keep. It has changed so much since that day. I was able to get a picture of Notorious RBG's headstone. Enjoy our day.
