We had a beautiful day at the Mystic Seaport Museum on our own today. It is a maritime museum that has 4 National Historic Landmark vessels including the CharlesW. Morgan, America's oldest commercial ship and the last wooden whaleship in the world. It is over 19 acres and has a recreated 19th century coastal village, working shipyard, exhibit halls and artifact storage facilities. We were also treated to car show. Dinner was a group function on site and ended another wonderful day. We head off to New York/New Jersey tomorrow so it will be an early evening.
