A Travellerspoint blog

We arrived at Wells Maine Wednesday to meet up with the group we will be traveling with for the next 40 days. There are 22 RV's along with the Wagon Master and the Tail Gunner for a total of 47 people.

Thursday Jai & I traveled north in search of lighthouses and found 4. It was a beautiful day to drive the coast and go thru the coastal towns. Thank goodness the busy time has passed otherwise it would have been a really long trip. We returned to the park then headed to a group "Lobsta Dinner" which was wonderful and a great way to meet our fellow travelers. The food was amazing!

Friday we boarded a bus and traveled to New Hampshire to visit Strawberry Banke Museum which is a collection of 32 preserved buildings from the history of Portsmouth. There were beautiful gardens on the grounds along with the buildings.
We found lunch at the GOAT-great burgers and beer and wandered the shops in the area. We boarded the bus for a guided history tour of the area before heading back to Wells. Today is a free day and we leave Wells ME to travel Foxboro MA.

Great photos! I love the lighthouses in that area. Think I have a photo similar to one of them.. from 1994. Not sure if it is exact same lighthouse but would be cool. Have so much fun!!
