Beautiful sunny day to take a drive out to Perdido Key and see the beach. Still lots of damage from the storms past year and closed business's but they are making progress. Decided on The Crab Trap for lunch. It's a classic on the shore place that serves unbelievable food. Those who know me know that I was never one to eat seafood but that changed after our trip to Ireland. Now I am always trying new dishes and today was no different
I ordered Mahi Mahi topped with a shrimp and crab sauce that came with black eyed peas and confetti rice. Needless to say it was wonderful. Jai had Seafood Linguine with shrimp and crab. Drinks were also a must. We took an walk on the beach after lunch then drove thru Gulf Shores and back home. What a beautiful day to be alive and enjoying life.

Wow, I'm visualizing a walk along that ocean front. Looks very inviting‼️ It's great to experiment with different foods & then take a stroll outside before relaxing with a great book in a lawn chair.
