Been off the blog a bit. We traveled from York to Nottingham Castle then into London.
The castle ruins what's left are a bit hard to find but we did. Then stopped for a pint at the pub that is built into the side of a hill/cave that abuts the castle.
On the road to London and our next three nights. Thank goodness Jai can get around easily and has a GPS that we found our A B&B. They were a wonderful couple and great location. We parked the car and walked, took busses, trains,The Tube and boat to get around. Saturday we got our bearings, Sunday we traveled to Greenwich Observatory and Sunday we took a group tour to 30 tops site thru A B&B. Walked 11 miles yesterday. We had a great ti.e and could have spent more time-and much to see.
This morning we drove to Dover and saw the white cliffs, castles, lighthouse,St. Margaret's Beach, another rainbow and the shipping port. Rained off and on but we still enjoyed our drive. Staying outside Dover and onto Bath tomorrow.
I will post pictures of London Tour in separate post following this.
